Carissa Vizakis, PT

Carissa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bridgewater State University with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree in 2013. There she was a 4 year starter for the Women's Varsity Field Hockey team. After spending several years as a Physical Therapist Aide at Joint Effort Physical Therapy and other various clinics, Carissa decided to continue her education at New England Institute of Technology. She received her Associate's Degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant program this past September 2017. Aside from working at JEPT, Carissa is employed Per Diem at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in the acute care setting. In her free time, Carissa enjoys spending time with her husband and family, watching football, exercising and volunteering her efforts to assisting veterans with charity work for organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project. She likes to live her personal and professional life by this quote, "Leave people better than you found them," and looks forward to helping you achieve all your rehabilitation goals!
